BLEPHAROPICTIA is author technique of Pearl. The term comes from the Greek word βλέφαρον – eyelid, and the root of the Latin verb ‘pingo’ which means paint, draw. Blepharopictia is an aesthetic modelling of eyelids by tattooing. The design of Blepharopictia is related to both the upper and the lower eyelids and their movable and immovable part. It concerns mainly the depth of the eyelid as it is the eyes that reveal ageing and tiredness. There is a great variety of colour combinations for the eyelid but the main rule in designing Blepharopictia is to achieve a result of structured makeup with more universal colours, with balanced shades and soft forms, no lines.
